After the successful triumph over bollywood by Aamir’s 3 idiots – Here comes the challenger Shahrukh with his My name is Khan. Before going in deep roots of the movie, here is the preview of starcast responsible for this biggie.

Here comes Karan johar’s another big blockbuster as My name is Khan. Shahrukh Khan has acted a role of mental boy who is suffering from some Asperger syndrome. In this movie Shahrukh Khan is all there to prove that he is a Muslim and not a terrorist.
This film will remind you few scene of New York of john Abraham and traces of Kurban indeed. Both have little similarity in story ( that was colour and this is religion), but here this is Shahrukh with good acting, much better direction and a new concept.
The whole story focusses on aftermath of 9/11 incident, how mindset about a Muslim hampered there dignity despite being a resident of that area. Shahrukh ( Rizwan) grew up with his mother (Zarina Wahab) in the Borivali suburb of Mumbai. As an adult, she falls in love with Kajol who is a widow with a child. After the 9/11 incident, he got arrested due to his religion ( Islam), thereafter his role begins, proving himself and his community to explain – Every Muslim is not a terrorist.
Acting wise Shahrukh and Kajol is fantabulous. It reminds me Shahrukh of Swades or Chak De India, which was one of his best acting in his career. kajol has supported him very well. The screenplay by Shibani Bhatija definitely need a big round of applause. Direction by Karan doesn’t leaves a question mark and songs are pretty soft and bit emotional with the best number Sajda.

Worst movie of all time, really sux, srk sucks in a big way, he can do anything from his movie let it be manipulating the media and doctoring the reviews. It is not that I hate srk I just dont like his movies.

movies is not much nice.
I have seen the movie and i really liked the concept. But apart from that there are some very big flaws in the movie and that are some flaws in story and direction not because of shahrukh khan. After all the film is the director’s baby and the actors are director’s pawns.
Without any inquiry conducted, Every one has decided that the kid was killed because his name was khan. The scene of the kid’s death revealed that it was just a fight between kids. The kid with hatred has done nothing.
Kajol decided herself that her son is dead because of his surname that is khan and throws Shahrukh out of her life saying him to convince president that he is not terrorist. What can president do and what has president done except saying condolence.
fabulous acting by srk….i think he shuld get de national award this time…..

this is such a pathetic movie with all non-sense acting of SRK. Being a muslimg used to be a difficult thing but why you are reminding the entire planet or what happened in the past. Do we want to be reminded again? The entire world is trying to forget and 09/11 and here you are….refreshing it in the memories of Indian muslims. You know we all have started hating you for this. We love Aamir only now. You have lost respect for promoting film by commenting on Paki players when it was not required. SS and SRK should recieve medals. Overall, a Bakwass movie and controversy will be tagged with it forever and not the message that it was trying to give. KJo needs some tonic to boost his thought process.

Horrible representation of personal idea. To much pointing fingers to a successful nation like USA. Muslims are here in USA because they cannot find any better place and safe place for them. All these people come here and beg for ASYLUM and then whine about the treatment here. This film is all about SRK’s personal thinking – as if it is his biography. This sends too much wrong message about a fair society.
Movie gives a good message….SRK is too smart to act in character-oriented roles.he does not look natural while playing such roles.
Most disgraceful movie for actor like SRK. His last couple of movies are just hit by media talk. No public attraction. He almost forgotten acting. MNIK not even timepass movie. A message was good but story did not support throughout the movie. Lots of mismatch incidents made me frustrated. Better i should watch Tom & jerry cartoon. Atleast i will laugh. MNIK was highly publicity made movie with no sense of direction. Kajol was great in her acting. SRK’s one of worst movie…Good luck ahead SRK.

Even though there are some flaws in the movie but I will still welcome it because at least SRK as an actor and Karan Johar as a director, took a big stand against what normally is tradition for Bollywood movies. Muslims are always being played the “Bad Guys” role. Looks like that’s what Indians want their kids to learn as they grow up.
Anyhow, I appreciate the initiative that K.Johar took here, very brave of him though, sure he made some enemies by directing this movie. They protested against the movie in Mumbai and torn the movie posters. It looks more of a protest against the movie itself then what SRK said about the IPL snub.
If anyone does not know, SRK visited Chicago few months ago and was stopped and questioned at the airport by US immigration because his last name (Khan), which is by the way a common practice in US for security purposes. He took is very personally and I think this movie is a result of that incident.
