Joint entrance Examination of IIT which is also known as IIT JEE 2012 have opened the site for online registration from today onward.

It will run from 31st October 2011 to 10th of December 2011. Later online registration will nt be entertained and the portal will be closed.

An important information about the registration is that – Candidates who registered & filled the online application form for IIT-JEE 2012 before 10:15 AM on 31/10/2011 MUST register & fill the online application form once again.

Graduate Aptitude test in engineering 2012 examination has been announced and this year also GATE 2012 Examination will include both online and offline examinations.

Online examination is on 29 January 2012(Sunday) and offline examination this year is on 12 February 2012
(Sunday).

This year candidates have to apply only Online with application fee for General/OBC is Rs 1000 while for SC/ST/PH will be Rs500.

A candidate can apply for only one of the total 21 papers listed in the table at official GATE website for 2012 which is http://gate.iitd.ac.in/GATE/structure.php

The examination for the papers with codes AE, AG, AR, GG, MN and TF will be carried out ONLINE using computers where the candidates will be required to enter the answer online with mouse only and for others it will be offline.

As per official notice, GATE 2012 results will be announced on March 15, 2012 at 10:00 hrs and will be available on the GATE websites of all IITs and IISc.
