After sharing equal honors for the test match, both country India and South Africa are playing there first ODI match of the series today.

Today South Africa won the toss and elected to field as this pitch is very nice for batting at slog hours. India started very bad because India lost his best player Sachin Tendulkar in the 2nd over itself by runout.

This followed a partnership between Virender Sehwag and Dinesh karthik and both contributed a partnership of 50 runs in 53 balls. After that India again lost his second wicket as Sehwag. He got out of a straight shot of karthik which touched the fingertip of Langeveldt and then the wicket, Sehwag was out of crease.

India lost his third wicket in form of karthik. In ball of again lageveldt Karthik top-edges a hurried pull to Petersen at mid-on, easy catch off the splice of the bat and thus the third wicket down.

A short of length ball outside off, Dhoni seemed to be into his shot a touch early, his drive lobs towards mid-off where Albie pouches it low and thus Dhoni got out. India loses its fourth wicket as skipper Dhoni goes at 139 runs.

Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina looks quite comfortably at present moment. India is playing at 184/4 in 33 overs with all initial wickets gone. Only hope remaining is S. Raina. And since its a batting pitch, minimum target expected is more than 300 runs.

Ind vs SA ( India Vs South Africa) day 5 2nd test live score – India struggling for Amla wicket

It seems Hashim Amla has again did it for South Africans. And India is quite desperate to overcome this hindrance for their much needed victory.

Like the previous centuries, Amla looks very set yet against India and India finding its very difficult to take his wicket. Hashim Amla again made his half century in the final day of the 2nd test match India vs South Africa( Ind vs SA).

At present South Africa would be very happy to see that both batsmen have stabilized and playing quite comfortably. Well they definitely can’t rush for more runs, rather they have to just stay for few hours ( because weather is still uncertain)

From India, Amit Mishra and Harbhajan have taken the ball and trying very hard to get these wickets. Since in last day of Eden garden, Ball spins dramatically therefore India is trying their spinner to do the early damage.

Here is the final score till now – India 643/6 declared, South Africa 296 and 158 for 3. The match will go live after the drinks in short moment from now.

Day 4 India vs South Africa (Ind vs SA) live – SAfrica loses skipper

Day 3 ending was not good for Indian team as after declaration they managed to play 5 balls and thereafter followed a bad weather stopping the game.

India declared at the third day at a huge 643 runs for loss of six wickets. India decided to snatch at least 1 wicket at the end of day.

But the bad light was definitely in favor of S Africans who played only 5 balls. The bad weather condition caused India loss of valuable 93 minutes.

At present South Africans is at 39/1 at 14 overs. South Africa 293 and 39/1 while India 643/6 declared and one innings remaining.

VVS Laxman MS Dhoni hit century – India crossed 600 against South Africa

After the early loss of M. vijay, Indian skipper MS Dhoni and expert test player VVS Laxman took the command relieve India out of danger. And they certainly did it.

Both batsmen hit a century which followed India crossing 600 runs. Laxman is playing right now at 136 while Dhoni just made a ton and is at 104.

India still having 4 wickets in hand and may be they would have been thinking of crossing 700 or more. But the need of the hours is increasing the pace of runs. The runrate for this innings is just declining since the loss of Sehwag. Overall for a test match its a pretty good average, but since its time to handover the bat to South Africans – they should must speed up the score.

At present from South African side Paul Harris and Paul Duminy has taken the possession of balls. But unfortunately Indian batsmen are so set, they are unable to stop them. Both Harris and Duminy have taken 1 wicket each. Morkel is the highest wicket taker by taking 2 wickets only.

The above word is proving wrong as Dhoni has started the damage while writing this article. Two sixes in 148th over. Better I stop writing and watch the match give you the latest updates.
