Today 56th national awards 2008 concluded successfully in 2010 where actor, actress and all film family attended the ceremony. Stars from all over India participated in this awards function and many Non Hindi people also won many awards leaving many renowned Indian superstars. From Hindi Cinema, Only Priyanka Chopra bagged best actress award on this auspicious occasion for India Cinema.

Best female playback singer – Shreya Ghoshal ( For Pherari Mon and Jeev DanglaGungla Rangla)
Best Cinematography – Avik Mukhopadhyay for Antaheen(Bengali)
Best Screenplay – Sachin Kundalkar for Gandha ( Marathi)
Best Choreography – Chinni Prakash & Rekha Prakash for Jodha Akbar’s (Hindi) “Azeem‐o‐Shaan Shaheshah”
Best supportin actor – Arjun Rampal for “Rock On”
Best supporting actress – Kangna ranaut for Fashion
