Yesterday in two deciding matches, India and West Indies lost their individual matches to Sri Lanka and mighty Australians respectively.

India lost the match to Sri Lanka in very last ball when Kapugedera hit a six in last ball when required run to win was 3. Despite good batting order, India only scored 163 for loss of 5 wickets. Sri Lanka anyhow chased the set target and entered the semifinals.

In the second match of yesterday between Australia and West Indies, Australia marked a comfortable win over West Indians. West Indies were all out for 105 runs in 19 overs. Australia reached this target with 22 balls remaining. Australia won by 6 wickets.

Australia will meet Pakistan in one of the semifinals and England will meet Sri Lanka in the second one in T20 cricket world cup 2010.

India vs Sri Lanka – Sri Lanka on fire after losing 3 wickets

Till now, you must have become aware of the requirement of India to enter the semifinals. Based on that, it can be said that its just a very poor score for making their way to the semifinals.

Batting early India set a target of only 164 runs. And to enter, they have to defeat Sri Lanka by minimum 20 runs. But it looks difficult as – despite having good players like Dhoni, Pathan, India couldn’t ended up well.

Sri Lanka lost their initial 3 wickets at only 49 runs, but thereafter Sangakkara has took the charge nad banging the Indian bowlers badly.

In 14th over, they scored 16 runs which included two big sixes of Sangakkara. They now require 64 of 36 balls, which seems very easy with present batting line-up.

At present, Sri Lanka is at 100 for loss of 3 wickets and rest is yet to come.

India vs West Indies live streaming – Match delayed due to rain

The do and die match for both teams India as well as West Indies will begin in few moments from now. India has won the toss and elected to field first.

Match has been delayed due to rain prior to this match. Finally West Indies are on field for batting despite the damp field.

Chris Gayle and Chanderpaul opened for the hosts and Bhajji took the responsibility to bowl first.

So the score of West Indies is 2 runs after the end of first over. Dhoni took the great decision as the pitch may dry after match progresses and if it rains then they can know their target to chase to take care of D/L methodology.
