Tomorrow on the second last day of Asiad games 2010, Indian medal hopes has increased as three players will be fighting for 3 gold medal in boxing tomorrow.

Manpreet Singh Vijender Singh and Virothu Santhosh kumar competing for gold medal in boxing on November 26 2010.

Manprret Singh will be competing against Mohammad Ghossoun in men’s 91 KG Bout, Virothu Santhosh kumar against Daniyar in Men’s 64 Kg Gold medal bout and Vijender SIngh against Abbos Atoev in men’s 75 Kg Gold medal bout.

Apart from this other gold medal hopes that still persists are two gold medals in kabaddi when both Men’s and women’s team will play in finals tomorrow.

Fe players are up in Karate also. In Sepaktakraw in Women’s Double Preliminary, India will competing against Myanmar tomorrow and few medal hopes from wrestling as well.

Asian Games finals 2010 – Japan won gold medal in Men’s football

In the grand finale of Men’s football of Asian Games 2010, Japan claimed the top spot by winning the final match in football today.

They defeated United Arab Emirates 1-0 in the final in Guangzhou today and won the champion and claimed gold medal.

The only goal was score by Yuki Saneto in the 74th minute which turned the game to japan side and they maintained the lead throughout the period.

Bronze medal was won by Korea who got it after defeating Iran 4-3 this afternoon.

Asian Games closing ceremony live on November 27

The closing ceremony of Asian Games will be on November 27 and hoping it will be much better than Opening ceremony which was also a gem indeed.

Many stunning performances are awaited during the closing ceremony of Asian Games at Olympic Sports Center Stadium in Guangzhou.

Singer rain will perform on his three hit songs in the closing ceremony. Rain has also represented Korea during ending ceremony of the ‘2008 Beijing Olympics.

Somdev Devvarman and Sanam Singh of India won men’s doubles tennis gold

India claimed their sixth gold medal when Somdev Devvarman and Sanam Singh won the finals of men’s Doubles tennis tournament in Asian Games 2010 today.

They marked a sensational 3-7, 7-6 (4), 1-0(8) victory over Chinese Maoxin Gong and Zhe Li at the Asian Games and defeated them to win next gold medal in their bag.

In this finals match, team India were sixth seeded and China team were 2nd seeded. India defeated this pair in about one hour and 45 minutes.

Now from 9th position, India moves ahead to seventh position in the Asiad Games medal tally 2010.

India vs Malaysia Hockey match live Asian Games 2010 on November 23

After incredible win over Japan and Pakistan, India will meet Malaysia in the semifinals spot on hockey match in Asian Games 2010.

Previously India defeated Pakistan in a good clash with a score of 3 against 2 in favour of India. And in next match India defeated Japan by 3-2 again.

Game 23 and Game 24 will be the fight for final spot which will be played on Tuesday on November 23 2010. Other semifinal clash will be between Pakistan vs Korea.

These semifinals match of Hockey Asian Games 2010 will be played at Aoti Hockey field on the same day and it will decide teams of Men’s hockey finals.

Sudha Singh won gold medal in 3000m steeplechase for India

Just few minutes back, India claimed their fifth gold medal in Asian Games 2010 today. AN dthis is won by SUdha Singh for 3000m steeplechase.

She won 3km steeplechase in nine minutes and 55.67 seconds at the Guangzhou Asian Games here on Sunday.

She defeated Jin Yuan (9:55.71) who claimed silver medal and Japan’s Minori Hayakari who took bronze (10:01.25).

Congratulation to Sudha Singh for writing history in Indian athletics team. Seems this time athletics team of India is shining.
