Today WWE mega event of the month Royal Rumble will be live on sky sports just a few hours from now. A total of 30 participants will participate in this match. One man will have to survive at the ring throwing all 29 over the rope and make his way to Wrestlemania ( The Biggest event of WWE)
These 30 participants include mighty John Cena, Triple H, Chris jericho, Batista, Shawn Michaels and several others. But survivor will be only one and he will meet the champ on the biggest Wrestlemania night.
When coming to its history , Steve Austin has won maximum times – three Royal Rumbles (1997, 1998, 2001). Rey Mysterio has the longest recorded time in the Royal Rumble with 1:02:12 in 2006. The next longest-lasting entrants are Chris Benoit and Bob Backlund. Stone Cold’ Steve Austin became the Royal Rumble winner to spend the shortest amount of time in the match at nine minutes in 2005 followed by Batista with 10 minutes. Rey Mysterio is the shortest Superstar to ever win the Royal Rumble. He is also the only masked wrestler to ever win this match.
People of UK and Ireland can watch this mega event live on Sky Sports from the Philips Arena in Atlanta today. FOr India , they have to wait for February 7 and will telecast on Ten Sports.
