NDTV and Toyota’s co-sponsored energy saving plan 2nd edition Greenathon 2 is having a huge success this year. Its got more success than last year by generating about 4 crores rupees till now.
Their aims seems achievable and now it seems they are working great for a cause of solar powering villages across India through TERI’s Lighting a Billion Lives initiative.
This year more and more Indian celebrities are joining this campaign like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika, Diya Mirza, Shahrukh Khan, Jaquiline and its counting because the list is long.
Shahrukh Khan has sponsored for powering for 8 villages while Kareena Kapoor for Chanderi, Deepika Padukone adopted Ambegaon and Diya Mirza for Kokkirai Lanka.
Many bollywood stars also performed to help this cause of powering the villages. Bollywood actors Riteish and Jaquiline, Arshad Warsi and Diya Mirza, Kareena Kapoor and many more performed for helping those residing in remote villages.
