This victory of Serena has brought her 12th Grand Slam Singles titles of her career. And she equals now Billie Jean King in sixth place on the all-time Grand Slam Women’s singles title list. She today won her back to back title by defeating Belgian comeback queen Justine Henin in the finals in Melbourne Park today.

Before the beginning of the match, it was being speculated that Serena will retain her title ans she does well in bringing all speculation comes true. Definitely she was in much form than Henin who has just left Tennis and made a quick comeback for this Grand Slam.

Serena once again proved that with aggressiveness and strength one can do anything she want. William’s sister Venus has already lost in the quarterfinals and never made to the finals. Thanks God, we were not watching both sisters again in the ground.
