Westmintser Dog show 2010 winner and results – Sadie won

Scottish Terrier named Sadie won the Westminster 2010 dog show ( result is out) today. This 5 year aged dog won the show today at one of the most famous dog show of the world today.

This dog show is a two day competition which included 2,500 dogs, took place at Madison Square Garden which is run by Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Sadie defeated Canadian-bred French bulldog and five other purebreds to win this event and thus was declared the winner of Westminster 2010 dog show.

This win was Sadie’s 112th best-in-show ribbon as per CBC news. The dog came into the show the Number one ranked dog in America and beat six other purebreds in the final competition – they were a whippet, a Brittany, a Doberman pinscher, a white toy poodle, a puri and a French bulldog.

The owner of this dog Amelia Musser was very happy when his dog won the competition defeating the other dogs in the race. Here you will see the winning dog with the trophy that she won at this show.

Winner of Australian open 2010 Women’s singles – Serena Williams

Today Just few minutes back Serena Williams defeated Justine Henin in the finals of Australian open 2010 women’s singles finals. She defeated Henin in three sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in Rod Laver Arena today. World number one Serena Williams despite losing the second set managed to retain the title to her and won the third set with much ease 6-2.

This victory of Serena has brought her 12th Grand Slam Singles titles of her career. And she equals now Billie Jean King in sixth place on the all-time Grand Slam Women’s singles title list. She today won her back to back title by defeating Belgian comeback queen Justine Henin in the finals in Melbourne Park today.

Before the beginning of the match, it was being speculated that Serena will retain her title ans she does well in bringing all speculation comes true. Definitely she was in much form than Henin who has just left Tennis and made a quick comeback for this Grand Slam.

Serena once again proved that with aggressiveness and strength one can do anything she want. William’s sister Venus has already lost in the quarterfinals and never made to the finals. Thanks God, we were not watching both sisters again in the ground.
