The second test match between India and Sri Lanka has ended in a tie. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Playing first Sri Lanka declared at 642 for loss of 4 wickets.

In reply India played also pretty well and Sachin made a double century. Raina made a historical record and become the batsman to score a century in debut match.

India made 707 runs for loss of all wickets in their first Innings. And these two giant innings almost took 4 and half days to complete. Following India 707, Sri Lanka scored 129 for loss of 3 wickets.

SK Raina from India and S Randiv from Sri Lanka made their test debut in this second test. KC Sangakkara from Lanka was declared man of the match.

After this match only one test match is remaining and India will look to convert this one to come to a draw in the test series. Sri Lanka has already won first test match by 10 wickets.
