After today’s opening ceremony followed by one day rest, Indian team will be ready for match against the one of the host and first challenger which has ousted India last year -Bangladesh.

IPL 4 schedule – IPL 2011 provisional schedule is out

BCCI has yesterday released the schedule of IPL 4 which will begin from 8th of April 2011.


A total of 10 teams 2 more than last year is included in this year matches to be played in fourth edition of Indian Premier League.

While announcement, IPL Chairman Chirayu Amin also said that it can change due to State Assembly elections in many hosted cities.

And also the defending champions Chennai Super Kings will have right to host the opening match of the series and to provide venue for the last and final match.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Opening Ceremony live on STAR Cricket

The one day series has leveled by 1-1 after India marked an incredible victory over South Africans few days back by just one run.

India won 2nd ODI against South Africa – Man of the match Munaf Patel

Thanks to the incredible bowling of Indian pace bowler Munaf Patel who grabbed 4 wickets and just hit the opposition very hard.



India defeated South Africa by just one run. South Africa succumbed at 189 runs only while target set was only 191 runs to beat India.

This was a stunning collapse of South Africa and credit goes to Indian team specially Munaf Patel who claimed two wickets in 43rd over.

Munaf patel was declared the man of the match and India has leveled the series 1-1 in this 5 match series.

Other than Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan took 2 wickets while Nehra, Harbhajan and Rohit Sharma claimed one wicket each.
