India and South Africa are playing their first one day match today. Till now three test match series and one 20-20 match has been completed and till now India has more edge over the home team.

Today South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, batting first they lost their first wicket in form of Smith who got caught one ball of Nehra.

Following the wicket, Ingram came down and on other end opener Amla is still right there to make a big target for opposition team.

South African players that are yet to come on field are AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, DA Miller, J Botha, WD Parnell, LL Tsotsobe, M Morkel and DW Steyn.

But after the loss of one wicket Amla seems to be in fire when he hit three consecutive fours of Nehra balls in 6th over. And the final score before leaving is 44 for 1 in 5.5 overs.

India has levelled the series 1-1 after winning the 2nd test match against home team South Africa. India successfully defended the set target of 303 runs.

VVS Laxman was declared man of the match who scored 96 in the second innings and was the highest scorer for Indian side in both the innings.

India scored 205 and 228 runs while South Africa succumbed to chase the target and only made 131 and 215 runs in the 2nd innings.

From Indian side, Sreesanth and Zaheer Khan took 3 wickets followed by Bhajji who claimed two wickets. One wicket by Ishant and the final wicket of Tsotsobe – a runout by Pujara.

The first and deciding wicket of 4th day was taken by Sreesanth in form of Kallis on one of the superb delivery in this test series.

After Centurion it will be next in Durban and its more expected to be volcanic than previous one. Yes Ind will meet SA in 2nd test match from 26th December onwards.

But the bad news that could really affect Indian side is the fitness of Gautam Gambhir, who is owing to an injury in the knuckles of his left hand.

But the better part is that, Zaheer Khan will be back and expecting he will be back with a bang. Pujara seems to replace Raina ( But not certain).

Master blaster – Legend of the cricket Sachin Tendulkar has created history by making the first ever 50 test century ever in Cricket World.

In 1st Test at Centurion in South AFrica 4th day, December 19, 2010 against home team – a landmark was created by Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin scored 100 runs off 197 balls which included 12 fours and one six. He is the first person from India and world also to create such achievement.

Team was down to six wickets at 206 runs when Sachin and Dhoni came on ground and made a good partnership on the field which followed this landmark.
